Our Support

We ensure you have all the support & hospitality to help you along the way. You'll  have all the food & drink you need to keep your energy levels up - with covered facilities every 13 - 17 km for you to rest, recuperate and energise as you go. We understand that the right levels of support need to be provided in order to give you the best shot at making it across the finish line.

Great Hospitality

The route is divided into 4 stages with key major rest stops approx every 25-30km. Mid-points are situated between each rest stop every 12-13km with a full supply of snacks, drinks & a chance for you to recuperate with medics, doctors and support staff. Hot food is supplied at selected rest stops.

Signage & Mapping

The route, with map links and GPX files, will be released into the participant area of the website, and challengers will receive a full Route Map at the start of the event. This is really only for reference as the course will be fully marked with pink arrows, distance markers, and hazard warnings - and with reflective tape and glow sticks during night stages. You’ll always know where you are, and where you’re heading all the time – plus Event Marshalls and an ‘Event Control Room’ – just in case!

Keeping Track of You

We will utilise a timing system to log your progress through the major rest stops as you make your way to your finish line - not only does this mean that we can safely manage the challenge but of course you will be able to collect your timing results once you have crossed the finish line!

Supporting you every step of the way

You will be fully supported along the route by our Action Challenge event staff, support teams and medics. At rest stops they’ll bring you a hot drink when you most need it, attend to any medical issues, answer any questions you may have and walk with you through the night if you are taking on the challenge as an individual.

Base Camp

Situated in Chale adjacent to the start point our challenge 'base camp' will be our home for the weekend. Throughout the course of the bank holiday weekend we will see challengers arrive from all over the country (and even the world) as they set out and arrive back to finish weary but elated at completing the challenge.
